High Protein, Low Carb Beef Stir Fry [1.5k calories]

Here’s a great stir-fry for those on a high protein, high fats, low carb diet. Very simple and quick, makes 2 (large) bowls in less than 20 mins.

Please note that the recipe doesn’t take into account the type of sauce you use. So please be mindful of that when calculating your macros. Also, it’s 1,500 calories per serve, if you decide to split those over more or less meals, please be sure to adjust for that.

  1. Add oil to wok and leave on low heat.
  2. Slice beef into desired size and place into wok. Set heat on wok to medium-high.
  3. While beef is cooking, wash and chop all vegetables (I normally just place spinach in whole).
  4. When beef is roughly 90% cooked, add vegies and mix.
  5. Finally, add desired stir fry sauce (can be as simple as soy sauce, packet sauce or something more elaborate. Personally, I go with pre-packed. Be sure to check sodium levels, though!).
  6. Once sauce has been thoroughly mixed in and beef is cooked to completion, turn off heat and serve.
